A Modular, Recyclable Light

Turn it, twist it, recycle it
Long ago I had an excess of cardboard floating about and had been reading about Buckminster Fuller, subsequently one thing lead to another and soon I was creating randomly sized, modular tubes that I eventually wove together to create this ‘buckyball’ light.

By day: a mild-mannered cardboard light
The light could be arranged to sit on any side or at any angle – changing its overall shape and illumination in relation to the extrusions it was balanced on.

By night: a daring, crime-fighting, yet mild-mannered cardboard light
I wanted to create a light that had a presence. After a days work I had a light, lots of presence, but not a lot of space left.
