| My aim is to publish my thesis through the medium of graffiti.
My thesis considered how changing the way graffiti is created can alter its ability to 'communicate' with the public - allowing graffiti based on an authoritarian aesthetic to be embraced by the establishment due to its familiar (and overt) style of communication.
My aim is to reverse this theory and communicate my academic paper (an authoritarian aesthetic) through graffiti - an aesthetic deemed unacceptable by the establishment.
It's your choice on how you render your word, but please render it with respect - graffiti doesn't have to be destructive!
Today the medium of graffiti has never been so diverse - so why not be creative! You could use aerosols, chalks, markers, signs, stencils, cardboard, wood, paper, pins, stones, posters, stickers, flyers, sculpture - whatever you like!
Right! I'm off to get this going - why not come and join me... |
